The Eat/Gather book series is meant to inform people about the process of making traditional Japanese American foods. These tangible artifacts bring to light the culinary voice of the Nisei, (second generation Japanese Americans). They serve, not only as a tool to inform generations of those interested in these seasonal treats, but as a conversation starter. The Eat/Gather COMMUNITY page offers an open venue for sharing your own food heritage.
